Just a few days after its international launch, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has made its way to India. Many of us might be wondering that where’s the 6th generation Samsung Galaxy Note! Don’t think too much because Samsung has skipped a generation and launched the Galaxy Note 7 directly to get it more aligned with the Galaxy S7 series.
The Galaxy Note series has been an integral part of Samsung’s smartphone portfolio ever. Even when everyone thought that it would be too big, Samsung believed in its large sized ‘phablet’. Five years since the inception of the first Galaxy Note phablet, 5.5 to 5.7 inch smartphones have become a norm now.
Find out with WhatteGadget, how this version of the Samsung Galaxy Note series is different from the previous ones :
1.) First Waterproof Note: You get IP68 certification which means this is the first fully waterproof Note smartphone and even the S-Pen complies to the certification, so much so that Samsung claims that you can write on the Note 7 with the S-Pen underwater or under rain.
2.) Iris Scanner: Apart from the usual fingerprint scanner, Samsung has added an Iris scanner placed next to the front facing camera for extra security. It is fast and even works in the dark since it scans using infrared.
3.) GIF maker: One of the coolest features of the Note 7 is the ability to make a GIF out of videos. You can make a 15-second GIF and can share it or save it to your device.
4.) Designed to curve: Because the back curves with precision, it feels just right whether you’re picking it up from a flat surface, or whether you have it in your palm while using the S Pen. On the front, the screen bends just at the last minute to offer maximum space for the S Pen, while delivering the full advantages of a functional edge screen.
Now let’s have a look at the overall specs of this brilliant device.
