1.) Most qualified person of India – Dr. Shrikant Jichkar: He holds the Limca Book of Records for the most qualified person in the country. He holds degrees such as – MBBS and MD, LL.B., LL.M., DBM and MBA, B.Journ., M.A. (Public Administration, Sociology, Economics, Sanskrit, History, English Literature, Philosophy, Political Science, Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology, Psychology), D. Litt in Sanskrit. Most of his Degrees are with First Merit and he has obtained several Gold Medals for his degrees.

2.) Most records in Cricket – Sachin Tendulkar: Most One-Day Internationals: 463; Most ODI runs: 18426; Most ODI centuries: 49; Most number of Test runs – 15,921; Most number of Tests played -200; Most number of Test centuries – 51. Needless to say any thing more.

3.) First individual Gold Medal in Olympics – Abhinav Bindra: By winning the gold in the 10 m Air Rifle event at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, he became the first Indian to win an individual gold medal at the Olympic Games.

4.) Mangalyaan – Mars Orbiter Mission:  A space probe orbiting Mars since 24 September 2014. It was launched on 5 November 2013 by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It is India’s first interplanetary mission.

5.) Invention of fiber optic – Narinder Singh Kapany: an Indian-born American Sikh physicist known as the “Father of Fiber Optics”. The term fiber optics was coined by him in 1956 and in 1960 he founded Optics Technology Inc.
